Devastated Mock The Week followers have launched a petition and urged others to signal, within the hope of bringing their ‘beloved’ present again.

It was introduced earlier this week that the comedy programme was being cancelled by the BBC after 17 years.

After 21 sequence and greater than 200 episodes, it was confirmed that the panel present will air its last instalment in autumn because the company seems to create room for brand new content material.

Now, followers are taking issues into their very own arms and attempting to ‘Save Mock The Week’.

Taking to the feedback, some followers shared why they wished their ‘beloved’ present to be saved.

One wrote: ‘It’s been the one factor value watching on TV for me since about 2010. I genuinely wish to cancel by BBC TV licence if this doesn’t keep on air because it’s actually the one factor I ever watch on TV. All the things else is Gaming, YouTube or Netflix.’

Mock The Week first started broadcasting in 2005 with Dara on the helm and Hugh serving as a sequence common.
