Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw and Tampa Bay Rays lefty Shane McClanahan would be the beginning pitchers for the All-Star Recreation on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium.
Although that is Kershaw’s ninth All-Star look and McClanahan’s first, each are first-time starters for the midsummer basic.
Kerhsaw is 7-2 with a 2.13 ERA for the NL-best Dodgers. McClanahan has posted a 10-Three mark with main league-best 1.71 ERA and is tied for second with 147 strikeouts this season.
