Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, generally known as KK, has died on the age of 53.
The musician is claimed to have died after struggling a cardiac arrest following a live performance he carried out at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata on Tuesday Might 31.
Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, stated he was ‘saddened’ by KK’s demise in an announcement shared on social media, praising the ‘vary of feelings’ the late musician conveyed in his music.
‘Saddened by the premature demise of famous singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly generally known as KK. His songs mirrored a variety of feelings as struck a chord with individuals of all age teams,’ the Prime Minister wrote.

Composer Vishal Dadlani tweeted: ‘The tears received’t cease. What a guy he was. What a voice, what a coronary heart, what a human being. #KK is FOREVER!!!’

KK was one of the crucial profitable Indian singers of the 2000s, performing in a spread of languages together with Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Assamese, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam and Assamese.
Having begun his profession singing jingles for adverts, he went on to sing in movies, singing Hindi and Telugu-language renditions of songs by composer AR Rahman.
