The Sacramento Kings reached a deal to amass Atlanta Hawks guard Kevin Huerter for a 2024 protected first-round decide and two gamers on Friday, sources instructed ESPN.
The Kings are sending Justin Holiday, Mo Harkless and a top-14 protected first-round decide in 2024 for Huerter, sources mentioned. That decide can change into a top-12 protected decide in 2025 or a top-10 protected decide in 2026, sources added.
The Kings have upgraded with younger wings within the draft, free company and now trades, touchdown Huerter, free agent Malik Monk and drafting Keegan Murray with the No. four decide within the draft.
Huerter and Monk will each be 24 subsequent season, and match into the timeline with the franchise’s two greatest gamers, Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox.
The Hawks begin to replenish their draft inventory after sending three future first-round picks within the deal to land Spurs All-Star guard Dejounte Murray.
