
Senior administration at SpaceX have reportedly fired at the very least 5 employees members, after an open letter this week criticised the latest behaviour of CEO Elon Musk.
Earlier this week the Verge revealed the open letter, which described how Musk’s actions (together with his Twitter takeover, SEC bashing and so forth) and the latest allegations of sexual harassment in opposition to him (which he has denied) are negatively affecting SpaceX’s repute.
The doc claims that SpaceX employees “throughout the spectra of gender, ethnicity, seniority, and technical roles collaborated on” writing the letter.

Open letter
The letter was posted within the inner chat system of SpaceX, and employees have been requested to signal onto the letter by filling out a survey or scanning a QR code.
And the letter was fairly damning, with SpaceX employees writing that Elon Musk is a “distraction and embarrassment.”
“Elon’s behaviour within the public sphere is a frequent supply of distraction and embarrassment for us, significantly in latest weeks,” the letter states. “As our CEO and most outstanding spokesperson, Elon is seen because the face of SpaceX – each Tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public assertion by the corporate.”
The letter reportedly generated greater than 100 feedback within the Groups channel, with many workers agreeing to the spirit of the missive.
The letter urged SpaceX executives to “publicly deal with and condemn Elon’s dangerous Twitter conduct. SpaceX should swiftly and explicitly separate itself from Elon’s private model.”
Workers fired
However their actions have include a worth.
The New York Times reported on Thursday that SpaceX had fired quite a lot of workers related to the letter, citing three workers with data of the scenario as its supply.
